We begin the Lord's Day by studying one of two series. The first is "Colossians" as taught by Mr. Justice Conder. Justice will be leading us in a study of the book of Colossians, drawing out the practical truths and important doctrines found in this epistle.
The second series is "Bible Survey" as taught by Pastor Mike Waters. Here, we seek to step back and get an overview of the books of the Bible so that we can more clearly see the coherence of God's plan for the gospel from the beginning of time.
We continue worship in our morning service where Pastor Mike Waters is expositing the epistle of 1 John. Among many things, this book teaches us that contrary to claims from false teachers, we can have assurance of our salvation in Christ.
These things I have written unto you who believe in the Name of the Son of God, in order that you may know that you have eternal life. 1 John 5:13
We complete the Lord's Day by returning in the evening for a series on church officers by Pastor Waters. Look with us, as we explore the qualifications of elders and deacons, and their God-ordained roles within the church.
1 Timothy 3:1 It is a trustworthy statement: if any man aspires to the office of overseer, it is a fine work he desires to do.
Join us on Wednesday evening, for a devotion from the Psalms by Pastor Waters and a time of prayer for the church, local and abroad.
We celebrate the sacrament of the Lord's Table on the first Sunday of every month. There is a fellowship dinner immediately following the morning worship services, followed by our Lord's table meditation and administering of the bread and cup. For this special Sunday, the Lord's Table service replaces our regular evening service.
For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until He comes. -1 Corinthians 11:26
Following the Lord's Table meditation on the first Sunday of every month, we are currently meeting to study the book, "How Shall we then Live?", written by Francis Schaeffer. In this study, we will look at the history of our culture in order to better understand the thinking that drives it. When we view the thinking of the culture through Biblical lenses, we see how it runs contrary to the Bible and we equip ourselves for evangelism in that culture.
This study takes place at a different location, so please call the church for details.
Women's prayer meeting is currently scheduled for the first Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m. The women gather at the church for a time of prayer and to study the book, Idols of the Heart by Elyse Fitzpatrick . Join us as the Lord reveals to us the things that we worship wrongfully in the place of our King Jesus.
